In 2011, my series Eyes Like Daggers was nominated, alongside 15 other artists, from an initial 125 submissions to the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Panamá (MAC) “RADAR” open call. This distinction culminated in my selection as one of five artists shortlisted for a group exhibition at the MAC in 2012, where I was commissioned to create A Show of Hands, a body of work conceived specifically for the show.
